Type Now
The project
Type Now is a messaging system designed for exchanging text, images, and files, used internally within Orpen, a multichannel platform. Its core purpose is to facilitate internal communication within the system.
Developed as a separate project, Type Now is embedded as a script with its own service , giving it a microfrontend-like behavior. Built with React, it operates independently while seamlessly integrating with Orpen at runtime, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
The entire development process – from design to coding and deployment in a container– was handled by me, ensuring performance, scalability, and flexibility.
Mockup
The design of Type Now was created inFigma, where a Design Systemwas developed to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficient UI/UX patterns. The interface was broken down into components, making the system modular and adaptable. A visual breakdown of these components is available in the mockup.
Next Steps
Evolving into a standalone product – Transforming Type Now into a white-label solution, allowing it to be adopted by other platforms.
Performance and design improvements – Enhancing the interface and optimizing the system to provide an even more efficient user experience.
